Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to request deletion of personal data related to Sellioly, including, where applicable, WhatsApp Center data when that feature has been enabled.

It is intended for Sellioly platform users and, where applicable, people whose data was processed through a store or WhatsApp conversation managed with Sellioly.

1. How to request deletion

To request deletion of your Sellioly account or certain data:

• email [email protected];

• include the email address of the Sellioly account concerned;

• specify whether you request deletion of the full account, WhatsApp conversations, media, or other specific data;

• if the request concerns an end customer of a store, include the phone number and store name when possible.

We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.

2. What we can delete

Subject to legal obligations, we may delete or anonymize in particular:

• seller account data;

• store data;

• WhatsApp conversations and related media stored in Sellioly;

• WhatsApp connection identifiers stored by Sellioly (tokens, technical IDs) when the seller disconnects or requests deletion;

• other personal data not required for a legal or accounting obligation.

3. What may be retained temporarily

Some data may be retained temporarily when necessary to:

• comply with a legal or accounting obligation;

• prevent fraud or abuse;

• resolve a dispute;

• ensure service security;

• preserve evidence of an important operation.

When retention is no longer necessary, data is deleted or anonymized.

4. WhatsApp and Meta

Sellioly can delete WhatsApp data stored on its systems.

Data that remains with Meta (Business Manager, WABA, Meta-side history) stays under the seller's and Meta's control. The seller must manage those assets directly in their Meta account if needed.

Meta messaging fees continue to be billed by Meta to the seller under Meta's rules.

5. Processing time

We process requests within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days, unless the request is particularly complex or a legal obligation requires otherwise.

We will confirm by email when the request has been processed, where possible.
